The Sky fall poster is a fully mono-chrome (black and silver) this adds a classy element to the film and ties into to image of James bond which is one of a class British gentleman. The backdrop is of central London with  iconic building likes parliament and big Ben clearly visible. They have chosen the British government building instead of another tourist attraction as he is famously a agent of the British secret service; with the British flag waving in the background at full mast for a bit more Britishness. He is leaning on an Aston martin which is a famous British car company that make very expensive fast cars, the fact that he has one shows he has money. He is wearing a well tailored suit and tie which is internationally known a the successful businessman or spies uniform the small gun he is holding is the indicator that he is dangerous. 

Analysis - This is the end (trailer)

The trailer for This is the end begins by setting the scene off a big Hollywood party were various famous actors and stars are heading to. The actors are all playing versions of themselves, as persevered by the public or a more accentuated version of themselves. actors like Seth Rogan plays the same character he normally plays of a lovable oaf who doesn't allays fully understand things and Michael Cara plays a extremely obnoxiousness and annoying person who most other people will hate, this is a contrast to the normal character he plays who is a shy, nerdy, geek. This is a comedy film as show by the jokes being the main focus of the trailer. It is set in modern very expensive Hollywood mansion and in the surrounding town. There is a heavy rap song playing through out the trailer that both adds a serious and more action element and take the piss out of the rap music genre by playing the serious song over a set of comical scene.

When they decide to resolve the situation and survive the apocalypses they fortify the house in a comical manner by putting one piece of duck tape over a crack and putting random stuff cover doorways and take stock of their food stores. They argue over who will get the milky way, this is a stupid and trivial thing to care so much about especial in an apocalypse. It makes fun of the idea that Hollywood actors are all divas and pathetically ill equip for the world. The theme of hell and the rapture is repeated as we see a bottomless pit opens up next to the house, demons running around and people ascending up in a beam of blue light. This scenario for the world ending has been chosen to promote the idea that Hollywood is evil and the actors have been left for their sinful films.
As they try and survive we see they are almost killed a number of times and are almost helpless to the situation that they find themselves in, demonstrated mostly when Emma Watson, the actress who played a classically geeky little English girl in the harry potter series breaks in and steals their food and water and breaks one of their noses.
This is also used as another slapstick style joke that recuses through out the film, it also shows how weak and pathetic the actors are; they cant survive in the real world.

Analysis - Django (trailer)

Django unchained (the "D" is silent) is directed by Quentin Tarantino, a famous director known for a specific 70's style of composition and music with a extremely well worded script that has allot of puns and word play. This style is shown throughout the trailer from 0:50 onward.
Up to this point the trailer is purposefully shown as a dark and dreary generic spaghetti western remake for the modern time. The clips of the slaves walking over a desert, dusty plains and dark, icy forests in the dead of night. These locations are iconic locations for the genre, the huge and desolate landscape with towering mountain ranges that reveal the scale and give perspective on the dwarfing landscape; This scale helps to show the distance that the slaves have traveled. When we see them in the icy woodland we get an idea of the time they have been travelling to have changed landscapes and walk form day to night. We see the slaves have deep wounds on their backs and are shackled together being marched along by to men on horseback, this show the severity of the life these slaves have and how much the are controlled. While the song is a slow and dreary song by Johnny cash, who has a rough deep cowboy style voice perfect for the opening mood of the trailer the lyrics are are more inspirational and speak of freedom, this is a complete juxtaposition to the visuals we are seeing and implies that they must soon be about to change.
at 0:20 we meet the first speaking character who has a classic Tarantino style persona; he is confident gets in the face for the other character and has strong sense of humor. He come into a traditionally scary and uneasy location (the dark woods) on a funny caravan with a giant tooth on a spring; this makes him appear harmless and possibly even helpless but his continued confidence and direct nature, that allows him to find what he came for instantly, gives a more threatening vibe. When asked to leave by one of the slave drivers with large shotgun he does not even waver but walks straight up to him and tells him to calm down and explains the situation.
When this does not work the man instantly shoots him with a gun the audience didn't even know he had, this shocking moment completely changes the tone of the trailer and it becomes a Tarantino styled mash of violence and 70's soul funk. This is when the directors name appears just as the trailer becomes one of his style. We see Django getting released from his shackles and throwing the blanket of his back proudly. Then as Django is riding through town all the locals stare at him in astonishment as they have never seen a black man riding a horse and they seem to draw allot of attention. This is a signature of the time and location the film is set and continues the racist view of black people felt by many white people at the time. We then see the white man helping himself to a bear in a western style saloon and asking "do you know what a bounty hunter is?" to Django as he replies "you kill people for money"; as he says this we see a low angle close up shot of the white man shooting his shinny silver pistol, focusing on the pistol as it shoots. This is a very iconic 70's cop show favorite shot type and is used often in Tarantino work.
The white man replies saying yes to this answer and shows how unfazed he is with the killing, this all has helped us get a clear image of what this character is like.
As he explains the reasons for finding Django is so he can help him find the "brittle brother" We see a large group of men wearing KKK masks charging on horse back with flames (the size of this racist group again re-enforces the racist view of white people at the time) and then the three faces of the men appear; this associates the Brittle brothers with racism and makes them appear as ignorant hillbilly's to the viewer, they are clearly the bad guys. We see the reason for Django to help him is that he knows what they look like and the bounty hunter does not.
As he puts a new saddle on the horse we can assume he has agreed to join the man and help him, we see a 2 person shot of both men on top of their horses nodding to each other, signifying they are now partners and equals. Django says he has personal reasons for finding the brother being they sold his wife but doesn't know who to; as he says this we see Leonardo DiCaprio turn his head and nod to the camera, acknowledging that he is the one who has bought her. The bounty hunter says if he help him kill the brothers he will give him his freedom and help save his wife; this is the goal of the film and another key to the direction of Tarantino film, as in all his films every scene is simply a lead up to the final goal.
He says this while we see a montage of old world cowboy lands, up in mountains down in deserts and heading passed heads of bison/buffalo and then Django says "were we going" giving consent to the mission.
Django shoots a gun at a small farmhouse but then it cuts to huge explosion causing many men to fall of their houses and Leonardo DiCaprio screaming "YES" to the explosion. This injects a bit more energy into the trailer and then he says "you had my curiosity, but now you have my attention" as this is what the explosion was meant to do to the audience.
The lines LIFE, LIBERTY, and the PURSUIT, of VENGEANCE appear between another montage of killing and violence, showing the 2 men'S disregard for killing and the general themes of the film. Django is asked how he likes the bounty hunting business to which he replies "kill white folks and they pay you for it, whats not to like?" and then say the very comical line "i like the way you die die boy" to one of the brother they are hunting; as he hits the floor the music stops and the thud of him hitting is made louder to give it more of an impact and show a big bad guy falling hard. Then Leonardo DiCaprio say "he is a rambunctious sort aint he" as he chuckles to himself.
The title appears in a very classic western font as an animation of 2 fists breaking shackles apart move away, This is how they have themed the title to be unique and link to the film more. The final line of the trailer shows Django looking cocky smoking a cigarette and when asked who he is "i'm Django, the D is silent", this shows his confidence has built from slave to proud bounty hunter and fells he can even correct people now.

Analysis - White house down! (trailer)

The trailer for "White house down" begins with a shaky image of Columbia films. We poor quality film of people screaming and the white house being blown up, this low quality footage suggest it is civilian footage and a POV shot from the eyes of a normal tourist. We  hear it is "breaking news from Washington, explosion, and shocking" these words con-notate an attack and as it is in America this suggest it is probably some kind of terrorist instead of an governments army. We then see the classically American style patriotic line "America will never be destroyed" and then we see one man walking against the crowd and in a black suit, this man in black is a  -------

Analysis - The safe heaven (trailer)

The trailer for Safe heaven starts with a girl running away from a man in a dark city at night. The girl has a hood up and look scared and is constantly looking over her shoulder, she is clearly hiding from someone. The man seen chasing her is dressed all in black this sets up an enigma code as the audience are left wondering who this this man is and why he is chasing the girl. This links the genre of the film, romance thriller.
She successfully avoids the man and travels on the bus for a long time going to a area that is the complete opposite from the dark city. This is showing her running away from her past and starting a new life. The new location is shown in a bright morning light with a warm glow, this is done to show that the new life is much better and safer then the dense smoke filled city at the dead of night shown in the previous scene.
We see that the film is written by the best selling author of the note book and Dear John, The director of the cider house rules and chocolat; these are all films of the same genre and style and will attract all attract the same target audience who liked these previous films.

We see the woman in her new home looking around and talking with the local people, this is showing her growing accustomed the town and she now feels safe. When asked how she likes the town she says "its a change of pace" and we see a sepia toned, high adrenaline flashback of her running and then a flash of white light and we are back to the calm walk. In the flash back she has black hair, compared to her blond hair now, this shows a former life and that she has changed.
Then she meets the love interest who is a classically handsome shopkeeper. These two people make a good on-screen couple as they are both attractive people and are nice to look at for the audience, making the film more appealing. He leaves a bike outside her house during the night as a gift, and when confronted he revealed that he has seen her walking and gifted the bike to her; this is a nice and romantic gesture appropriate to the genre. She rejects the bike and we hear that she cant let him get to know her, this shows she has baggage tied to her past and this is the obstacle that the film is going to overcome, this also makes her more relatable  and builds character depth. We then see that the man is a newly widowed father; this shows he also has baggage tied to his past. This makes him a better match for her as they both have a broken side.
We see that she begins to rethink her previous idea of him. When  he asks her out to go canoeing there is a miss-communication and another random guy think he has been asked to go canoeing; HAHAHA this is the first attempt at comedy see in the trailer and is put in to lighten the mood of the trailer as we are now heading into the happier part of the trailer and film as she agrees to the date. They connect and we see three icon romantic scenes, the field, the beach and finally the woods, she says she is happy. The music going for this trailer has a strange overtone of impending disaster while feeling just a bit comforting, this is perfect as we then see  the line "it's not what your running from" and then the chaos of the start of the trailer returns and the characters new happy lives are thrown up and disturbed and we see the finishing line "Its what your running to". The music gets louder and faster and the melodic voice becomes a almost chanting, until the leading man says that the safest place is with him and the chaos disappears instantly and all problems are resolved as the title and end credits role over a calming ripple on on a lake signifying the ripple effect and how it can still be calmed and made to be at peace.

Analysis - The Vow (trailer)

The trailer starts at a wedding where we see a couple saying their vows surrounded by the friends, this is a romantic moment shown as the first scene in the trailer to show what kind of film it is. Then someone shouts that security are here and we see they are in a art museum and have to run from them just as they finish their vows, this show they are fun and carefree. making the characters more appealing and relatable to a younger audience, then we see them kiss under a arch outside the museum while she is holding flowers in her wedding dress, this is another classic "postcard" image of a happy young couple. There is a male voice over saying iconic romcom film philosophical and pseudo intellectual quotes about life. He does a romantic gesture that is comically misunderstood, but when explained becomes another romantic moment.
The voice over then says stuff about imagining if you could no longer remember the one you love; when suddenly they get hit by a truck! The truck was put in slow motion and a loud horn put over the top to represent the disruption of equilibrium. We then see the woman in a hospital and her husband standing over her in a pair of scrubs, the woman says she does not know who this man is other than her doctor!!! At this point the music start and we her a sorrowful woman's voice singing to a dramatic beat.
We also see that the film will be released on valentines day, this is perfect for the genre as Valentines day is considered the most romantic day of the year.
We see the woman looking through photos of her life and despairing at how she doesn't know who her this man is or who she is!! This is the recognition of the disruption. The man then says he will make her fall in love him again, this is a romantic goal designed to make the audience swoon. This shows the premise if the film and attempt to repair the disruption and return to the equilibrium. We see actors appearance to a clip of just them on screen so you can associate the possibly less known name with the well known face of the actor, and a white fade is used to calmly transition to next clip with a little sub line telling the audience that the actor has been in notebook/dear john which are other romantic classics of the same style. We then see a series of clip showing more depressing and/or romantic moments between the couple and hear words of the same theme. Then the leading man decides to resolve the problems presented and VOWS to keep them together no matter what. We see him fighting for her both physically and emotionally through good and bad time (represented by the weather). Then the title emerges from a bright clearing of white light as is it was a perfect memory that has re-emerged from the viewers subconscious. This title appearance queue up perfectly with the final note soft the romantic soft music that has been a continuous for the last half of the trailer and clearly signifies the end and a time to appreciate the beauty and romance of the clip and the words spoken; and forget any flaws or how overplayed the genre is and allow the audience to accept it as simply a lovely romance with a happy and wondrous end. :D

Analysis - Mirrors (poster)

The poster for Mirrors uses a classic blue/grey filter used in many horror film as it create a lifeless and empty look in skin tones; they look asif they have been drained. The main character (Keither Sutherland) look brocken himself, this is to re-enforce the look that the filter give. He appears to have a brocken will and the cuts bruises and missing chunck of ear suggest he has been "through hell" which is perfect for the genre. The films title has mirrored one of the r's in the name to promote the theme of the film. The title font used is clear and basic, all in white as not to draw attention from the main image which  is the eyecatching bulck of the poster. Keither Sutherland's name is atop the title in a bold full capitals font, showing his name before the film help the potential audience know what the film might be like as many famouse actors are assosiated with sertain genres or styles, and any fans of his previouse film may give the film a higher standing just as he is in it.
The poster is a reflection in a shattered mirror to again show the main theme of the film, the shatter in the mirror goes through the actors face and cracks at his eye, this could be to show a shattered soul as a crack mirror is often iconic and commonly used convention to show a broken person in the film industry.

Analysis - Mirrors (trailer)

In the start of the trailer we see a happy idealistic family in a middle class neighborhood all sitting together in a bright warm and sun lit room. This is the idyllic calm that will soon be disrupted as the equilibrium is disrupted. The audience then see the, assumed father(Keifer Sutherland), walking with another man to a abandon and extremely creepy looking old mansion. This creepy location is a staple of the genre, it is used in a huge number of films to create a eerie  atmosphere of unease and discontent. The man guiding the the main character around says that the previous janitor was abscessed with these mirrors and cleaned them constantly. The film company logos are flipped as if they were in a mirror, this makes the audience fully immersed in the world of the film from the start. We see the main character patrolling around the building when a reflection in a mirror turns around behind him; this reflection is not focused on and is only see blurry in the background. The music over the top is slow and dark creating a unease among the audience then it is broken suddenly by a scream in the distance. We then see a series of clips showing creepy broken statues and a mirror with hand print; as a man  touches the hand he screams and falls of screen. Then a man is screaming and crying at his reflection when a mirror shard fall to the ground and we see the man looking horrified at the shard and then wee him fall screaming as a reflection stand and watches him fall. This is the first time we clearly see one of the reflections separate from the person and we see the reflection stab itself with a shard of glass and the screen flashes red suggesting that the reflection killed itself/the person. This now mean when ever a mirror is show the audience will expect a evil killing to occur. A creepy child in an old and stained nightgown is show screaming with her head phasing left  and right and contorting at unnatural speeds, this implies the supernatural/possession aspect of the film and is a staple of the genre. We see the child of the main character looking in a mirror and as the child moves the reflection stays and stare directly at the mother, this is a expanding of the chaos and evil that the father has previously experienced as it has now engulfed the family and spread away from the original house. This implies that no were is safe from the evil that is in the reflections.
Then the reflections begin to torment the original in a horrifying montage of classic horror style suspense, pain, suffering and general bad things. Again we see the reflections moving around freely in various shinny things and absorbing people into the mirrors; this is the most movement that the reflections have done up to this point suggesting that they are getting worse and more active, this is the culmination the disruption were all the fears have peaked and is the most intense part of the trailer with the most fast cuts and high adrenaline music. Then we hear that the main character is going to resolve the odd issues surrounding the mirrors and resolve the equilibrium; ALL the mirrors in a room filled exclusively with mirrors suddenly explodes. This explosion is signifying the destruction of the source of the reflection (even though they move from one shinny thing to another) and therefore stop the infestation of evil thingy s. As the exploding glass fly's outward it fades into a fractured title "Mirrors" with a reflection of the word reversed underneath (as if in a mirror) continuing the theme of the film and giving it a more unique title.

analysis - hunger games (trailer)

In the hunger games trailer it start in a calm and peaceful woodland. this is instantly changes and we see a fireball slam into a rock behind her and she is running surrounded by fire, this is the equilibrium of her  peaceful life bracken and doing so this early in the trailer is an indication of the structure if the film. Over the whole thing we hear a mans voice instructing and telling the main skills and points of the film.

The heroine climbs through a fence (showing she is leaving her enclosed and caged world) and goes into a thick woodland where she is sitting with a guy who she appears to be close to, this is the "calm before the storm" when all is normal in the characters world. She is hunting working with the guy as a team; this reinforces their relationship as a couple or very close friends. The voiceover of the guy saying they could leave is struck down by the girl saying "you wouldn't even get 5 miles" suggesting that they are trapped and controlled (a totalitarian state). This is then confirmed by the appearance of a futuristic almost alien looking flying craft which they run and hide from; the craft is bright with lights and technology and looks extremely advanced and expensive, this is the assumably the controlling force that they spoke of earlier as the 1.they hide from it as they are on the other side of a fence (in land that is restricted). 2.they are using a wooden bow  to hunt in what we can assume is the future and perhaps weapons are banned. 3.the ship has searchlights blaring down on looking for them or simply to scare and seem far more powerful con unavoidable.
A group of young people, dress in what we can assume is their bets clothing, walking to a large grey building with a stage and giant screens showing them walking in (they are being watched and need to know they are watched.) A woman in bright colors and strange makeup is on stage speaking very formally; she is the apitomy of extravagance and a complete juxtaposition to the grey world we have been previously introduced to. Then as her sisters name is called out her world shatters and she takes her place in a extremely dramatic and heart wrenching moment, the extremity of how this moment is portrayed show how big a commitment she has made volunteering to take the place of her sister. we then see them transported away to a huge futuristic city were she is primed for "the games" and told what he purpose is and we her a voice over telling us some of the story behind why the games exist. It represents them as a trapped and subdued people, who are forced to survive in a world they don't control as they have been taken somewhere and were the uniforms they are given when training and do as they are told completely.

analysis - Kings of summer (trailer)

It open with a boy hastily putting together  a poorly constructed wooden bird house and rushing to school on his bike. It is a sunny day and his home and neighborhood are nice and look like a standard American suburb; this setting is calm and mundane to make it look like a normal and standard location, this makes the world more relate to the majority of people. The boy is riding a bike and not going to school in a bus, car or walking suggesting he is too young to drive and is probably very late because of the birdhouse he has just made. As he presents  his bird house to his teacher we see his look of dismay and confusion and we see  just how poorly made the house is. The teacher says the year is over and they are playing hangman, the boy is too late and had no idea of the time; from his expression we can tell he is completely oblivious to his school life and has most likely failed the class for failing to meet the work deadline. We see the same boy in his room on the phone and his father walks in and takes the phone from him, he assumes it it one of the boys friends called Patrick but then proceeded to embarrass the boy when he hears its a girl, saying "a girl, that's a pleasant surprise" and tells her this son will have to go now as he has a new "bed time" of 7:30 (presumably as punishment for failing the class) and we see a tired look of despair on the boys face.
The boy slams the door a climes out of his window falling to the ground with a cries of pain, he goes to his friends house (Patrick) and is playing video games with him when Patrick breaks and confesses he cant stand his parents any more; flashing back to him looking very angry and bored trimming a hedge. His parents ask his a question which he replies to with a tone they disapprove of and then go to embarrassed and annoy him by getting overly offended by this reply and saying he must be showing of to a girl, and then "checking for a girl in a bikini" much to the disrepair of Patrick. The three boys go into  the woods and the main character tells Patrick of his plan to build a house in the woods and how here they can have no rules and they can be kings. Then Patrick asks what the other boy is doing here as we see him chopping down random plants with a machete, the main character says that he is afraid to tell him to leave because he doesn't know what he is capable of; this character is the comic relief of the film. We see a uplifting a carefree montage of the three boys living an easy life in the woods creating their own music and having fun. They are shown simply walking way for a building site with supplies and tools they need, showing a carefree nature of the boys. The clips are spaced apart by a series of positive quotes and reviews about the film. We see the three boys stealing supplies and working together to create a proper house with a full frame and all the works.
 The parents then are at the police saying the kids are missing, but the father of the main character says rather sarcastically that "this is a classic kidnapping, they took our children and the canned goods and pasta" suggesting he knows they have left on their own and are hiding somewhere. Then there is another motivational montage of the boys living without rules, we see the house they have built for the first time, and it is good; they are in an idealistic woodland clearing and have a full two level home with a mailbox. showing they are fully capable of doing good construction even though he failed his class on the subject. They proceed to do any activity of their choosing regardless of concern for safety or rules and we see them running through the woods with swords, cliff driving in the middle of the night and slicing a watermelon in mid air with a sword and we see the amazing settings of this film by a waterfall and rock faces, all give a message that they are truly secluded and away form civilization. The quote "why live when you can rule" appears on screen and the main character reads them an agreement saying they will never speak is this en devour to any adult, promoting the main message of the film being adolescent freedom.
We see the 3rd boys with a sword hissing like a snake at a snake, this is a strange thing to do and makes the character seem lightly "unhinged" but still very funny. We hear a continuing of the new rules they have established that say they will do everything for themselves now, but after a failed attempt to kill a possum (that ended in them running away screaming) we see them eating fried chicken and Patrick says he is amazed that they found a chicken in these woods, at which point we cut to a clip of 2 of the boys by a road side looking at a fast food restaurant; they do not allays have to go by the rules they have stated not 30 seconds ago, again showing a care free nature to the film and the boys attitudes.
Finally we see the title appear in a font as if it wear written on a cave wall, again showing a living in the wilderness style. We hear they need a plan as to why they are not home and the smaller 3rd boys hands them a classic kidnapping note made of cut up letters from magazine; he look very proud of himself while he is wearing goggles making a very strange look and again showing just how odd this character is. The letters are see with disapproval from the other boys as all three have stupid and fairly unbelievable names, to which the 3rd boy says he followed the format of Denzel Washington when picking the names of the kidnappers(a black first name and then a state). The other boys reward his effort but tell him its also savagely racist and give a slight awkward chuckle at the boy. The trailer ending on this joke shows it is a lighthearted film not to be taken too seriously and is a comedy at heart. This leaves the audience happy at the end of a inspiring trailer and shows another quirky and odd showcase of the film. This quirkiness is ideal as the film is aimed at the indie movie crowd, as indie films are famed for being a bit odd and offbeat to the normal film trends and not a big blockbuster film.
The trailer promotes the fact that it won various independent awards the biggest of which being the sun-dance film festival awards, this will attract a specific audience of film lovers as the sun-dance film festival is the largest indie film festive around. As it is a lower budget independent film It will not revive a huge reviews or meta-critic reviews so these awards are what will attract the target audience.

analysis - man of steel (trailer)

The first Man of steal trailer is a typical action film trailer, the use of fast short clips and speedy editing make it a exciting and adrenaline pumping sequence. It clearly establishes the "good guy" and "bad guy" these characters and incredibly important and staples of the genre.
The trailer starts with a staticy flash on and off for 10 seconds it show the companies funding the film and the words " you are not alone" this is designed to look as if the screen has been taken over or corrupted, and a rough message is struggling to get through. This message is shown all over the world on computers and TV everywhere. This show total control for the person(s) that are transmitting the message. Then we see a man travelling in a desolate and grey, empty place and then working crew on a boat; suggesting he is running away wishing not to be noticed, when a large explosion then hits a oil rig causing a juxtaposition between the chaotic nature of the explosion and  the calm grey sky of the previous scene, this explosion is connotating that his world and life and rapidly changing and chaos  is coming. Then the inconspicuous man is shown looking to be tacking control of the chaos and yelling at others to move away and holding up a large iron girder to save people; he is the opposite to chaos and can control it, he is the hero. Then a man crashes down to in a metallic suit with a gas mask, he instantly looks like the villain, this villainous image is forced further by the next scene showing a large group of people in similar suits marching towards the camera and then normal looking people looking up at them, this high angle shot of the normal people make them look weaker and like the civilians that need protecting from the powerful suited villains. Then a extreme long shot of of the earth with something crashing towards it is show and we see the inside of a large flying craft with more of the grey suited aliens; showing that they are aliens and are presumably more powerful and advanced than us, therefore we should be afraid of them, and another shot of people looking weak in the shadow of the scary grey and sharp looking flying craft over new York.
Then super man appears for the first time in the trailer with his iconic red cape flying and then the superman logo appearing from some kind of metallic looking dust. He then shows some of his power, flying into the stratosphere and speeding back down. we then see a woman looking into the hero's eyes and holding his hand showing see is the love interest of the film which is a staple of the superhero genre.
Then as one of the characters swears all humans will die and other classic alien villain quotes then trailer becomes a conglomerate of fast paced, action packed explosions, fights, violence and chaos, this shows the main attraction of the film as people will be looking a big blockbuster action film with lots of explosions. We then see the famous logo, this superman logo is always associated with the hero but this one is a new revamped logo with new textures and bathed in a low light with high shadow hiding the corners, this creates a  darker look for the film and whole trailer creates a new breath of life for the character as superman is normal considered a childish and lame hero but this film aims to create a new darker image for the character and aim it to ward the more adult audience. It did successfully create this new image through the darker look of the film.
